All About The Hair Bows wants your hair bows to last.

I heat seal all the ends to prevent fraying, I hand sew as well as glue the bows to make them more durable and I starch them to help them be stain resistant and hold their shape longer. On specialty bows with embellishments*, I hand sew and glue them to help prevent them from coming off. I want your hair bows to last!

*Embellishments can be choking hazards to small children. While I do make every effort to keep your bow from easily coming apart I cannot guarantee that in some instances they wouldn't be able to be pulled or bitten and come off, break or come apart.

Hair Bow Tips

After trying several things I have found that with my daughter's fine, thin hair it was almost impossible to keep bows from falling out, but, I have some tried and true tips that worked for us.

• Get the small Goody brand rubber bands, not covered. (I find them in packs with 3 different sizes and several colors in the pack.)
• The smaller the amount of hair you are working with the smaller your rubber band should be (this way you can get it in her hair really good and tight). No matter how much hair you are working with make sure the rubber band is in her hair very tight, this will help keep the band from slipping and her bow from slipping as well.
• Alligator clips can be carefully slipped through the rubber band to help keep it in her hair if you find that they slip.
• French clip barrettes are a little harder to get in but stay put better than alligator clips.
• Plastic barrettes are also available and are easy to keep in.
